Energy Trading Application Support Manager - £75k basic + 20-30% bonus
Leading Gas & Power Trading House, focused on renewable energy
and award-winning CSR, seeks an Energy Trading Application Support Manager to take full accountability for support services for the Trading IT application portfolio.
You’ll join a dynamic, growing energy trading business with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and protecting the planet through sustainable energy
as their 2 central pillars. As well as joining a very ethically moral business, you’ll also join a business who looks after and supports their employees, which includes a strong flexi-working policy and 3 days working from home (2 days in their Central London office) as standard.
The Energy Trading Application Support Manager will report into the Head of Energy Trading IT in a hands-on functional leadership role, providing a range of first, second- and third-line support services to the Front, Middle and Back Office.
Key to the role, the Energy Trading Application Support Manager must be able to balance stakeholder management alongside team leadership and line management.
The application portfolio includes applications used in the full energy trading lifecycle as well as market data management, credit risk management, market risk management, regulatory reporting, batch processing and business reporting.
Salary: £65-75k basic + 20-30% bonus + benefits
Key skills sought:
Several years commercial experience in energy trading application support, with some team leadership experience working in highly pressurized technically complex environments dealing with applications/systems
Experience in ETRM / CTRM / E/CTRM support gained either working for another energy trading business or for an E/CTRM software vendor working in application support resolving energy trading client problems/issues
Experience of working within the ITIL framework
Typically bright and degree educated
Commutable into their Central London office 2 days per week
British or Irish passport holder, or holds a valid UK work permit (Indefinite Leave to Remain / ILR, EU Settled Status, Family / Spousal Dependency Visa etc), allowing you to live and work in the UK without and sponsoring as my client won’t sponsor visas
