Job Description
A leading, commercial property business is seeking a Lead Procurement Manager – Energy & Water, to be based in their Central Bristol office.
Reporting into the Procurement Director and working closely with their ESG department, you will manage a small team of Energy & Water Procurement Consultants, oversee the energy and water procurement strategy for their clients, monitor performance and ensure contracts are delivered in line with schedules.
Duties will include:
- Build and maintain successful relationships with clients, tenants and colleagues, ensuring good communication between all parties and minimising the debt incurred.
- Generate and deliver bespoke reports to clients.
- Provide support on all water and energy related issues, engaging suppliers and resolving issues.
- Work on streamlining invoicing procedures.
- Implement training on utilities procurement, COT processes ad bill validation.
- Ensure regulation updates are implemented into best practices.
- Connect with Property Managers and Administrators to support site specific procurement and reporting.
Candidate MUST have:
- Experience in a similar role delivering energy procurement, possibly working for a procurement consultancy or energy supplier.
- Great client facing and account management skills, capable of working with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong energy procurement knowledge.
- Data analysis and reporting skills.
- Able to manage multiple workstreams concurrently.
Desirable are:
- Property sector experience, property consultancy / built environment / real estate industry
- Good Excel skills.
- People management or team leading skills.
