Job Description
Taylor Hopkinson are sourcing an Energy Lawyer for a global renewable energy IPP.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of a high-performance team, focusing on general corporate, commercial and compliance matters.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for negotiating and managing a diverse range of business contracts relating to on- and offshore wind energy and/or hydrogen. You will advise on legal risk and liabilities associated with such contracts and how to manage these.
You will liaise with your colleagues of the legal, regulatory and business teams to ensure and coordinate appropriate support.
You will provide general legal support to project companies and other group entities.
You will assist in preparing relevant internal documents and presentations for the management and/or board.
You will work together with our lead counsel legal and insurance in building and maintaining a sound governance and compliance framework as regards among others corporate housekeeping and data protection.
Required Experience:
You will be a fully qualified lawyer (bar exam equivalent), with excellent academic credentials and extensive legal experience.
Proven corporate/commercial experience in an international law firm or organisation.
You have an analytical mindset and can communicate advice and ideas, with respect for the business reality, to colleagues with a different educational background.
You have profound diplomatic and social skills; thriving on building relationships with stakeholders.
You are fluent in spoken and written English (additional language skills, particularly French, Dutch or Japanese) advantageous.
