Position Overview:
Our client is currently seeking a talented Employment Lawyer to join their dynamic team in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with experience in employment law to work on a diverse range of matters and contribute to the firm's continued success in this field.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including employment contracts, discrimination, dismissal, and workplace policies.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and settlement agreements.
Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings and other dispute resolution forums.
Advise clients on compliance with employment legislation and regulations.
Stay updated on changes in employment law and provide guidance to clients on emerging legal issues.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing responsive and commercially-focused legal advice.
Qualifications:
Qualified solicitor with experience in employment law.
Strong academic background with a law degree from a reputable institution.
Solid experience working in a reputable law firm or in-house legal department, handling employment law matters.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply legal principles to complex situations.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Membership of the Law Society of England and Wales or equivalent professional body is desirable.
