Job DescriptionEMPLOYMENT LAW PARALEGAL Job Title: Employment Law Paralegal or CILEx Equivalent Location: Office based in Mansfield Hours of Work: Full-Time Monday - Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm Benefits: Workplace Pension Scheme, 21 days holiday, plus bank holidays and various other benefits Salary Guide: negotiable depending on experience.Hopkins Solicitors are a reputable law firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. We pride ourselves on our commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client satisfaction. Position Overview:We are currently seeking a diligent and motivated person to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for employment law and demonstrate a keen interest in supporting our fee earners in delivering high-quality legal representation to our clients within the employment law department.Key Responsibilities:·Assist fee earners in drafting a variety of legal documents, including tribunal applications, bundles, witness statements, and settlement agreements.·Review and analyse legal documents, contracts, and agreements related to employment law cases.·Conduct in-depth legal research on various employment law matters, such as discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and employment contracts·Liaise effectively with clients, witnesses, and relevant parties to gather necessary information and evidence and respond in a prompt and concise manner.·Maintain meticulous case files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and organization at all times.·Provide comprehensive administrative support to fee earners, including managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and preparing correspondence.·Stay abreast of changes and developments in employment law and related regulations, and assist in keeping the team informed.Requirements:·Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or related field such as CILEx·Proven experience working as a paralegal and/or in an employment law practice.·Sound understanding of employment law principles, procedures, and regulations.·Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, with proficiency in legal research tools and software.·Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills.·Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.·Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.·A genuine interest in employment law and a commitment to professional development.Benefits:·Competitive salary package commensurate with experience.·Comprehensive benefits package·25 days holiday (4 of which are to be used over the Christmas period)·Opportunities for ongoing professional development and career advancement.·Supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and teamwork.How to Apply:If you are a dedicated individual with a passion for employment law and meet the requirements outlined above, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
