As an Employer Engagement Adviser, you will be required to initiate, develop and secure new business links and partnerships with a range of national and regional employers and professional associations.



You will be responsible for generating and managing a strong prospect pipeline of new employers, professional associations, and networks as part of our employer engagement strategy as well as taking new business leads through to account management stage.



Job Details




  • Keep up to date with current employment trends, corporate issues, sector research and corporate funding trends.

  • Generate and manage a strong prospect pipeline: identify, develop, and secure employer partnerships with great long-term potential.

  • Develop effective relationships with key employers and professional associations and develop new business leads.

  • Meet KPIs regarding identifying and approaching new employers.





Role Holder Requirements




  • Experience in identifying and bringing in new relationships / business into the organisation.

  • A successful record in driving campaigns to influence the behaviour of external stakeholders / customers.

  • Ability to engage confidently and sensitively with stakeholders and partners at all levels of seniority.

  • Demonstrate capability in multiple task management and evidence of success in delivering clear outcomes to agreed timescales, deadlines and budgets.

  • Excellent knowledge and practical application of Microsoft Office tools.

  • Employer engagement encouraging employers to actively participate in programmes, events, and initiatives.

  • Enhance communications to boost engagement, networking and productivity.

  • Adhere to all policies and procedures and compliance requirements relating to the role.

  • Strong Communication Skills:�Engage with learners and stakeholders to develop good working relationships. Use a high level of written, verbal and active listening communication skills.

  • Problem Solving and Adaptability:� The ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations.

  • Organisation and Planning:�Demonstrate good time management, prioritisation skills and being able to stay on top of multiple tasks.

  • Stress tolerance:�Capability to work under pressure.

  • Willingness to travel as required, including frequent early morning/late evenings for employer-related events.

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to communicate in all formats with internal and external colleagues at all levels.

  • Able to research and analyse data to inform and support service delivery.





Qualifications




  • Degree or Degree level equivalent experience (any subject area)

  • Advice and Guidance Level 4 (preferred but not essential).

  • Experience of developing current and new client relationships and understanding employer recruitment practices.

  • Experience of using social media to network/promote services.

  • Experience of planning and delivering marketing campaigns.

  • Experience of delivering small and large-scale events.



Schedule:



8 hour shift 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
