Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a dedicated Employment Associate to join their dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including contracts, discrimination, dismissal, and employee relations. With a focus on providing strategic advice and innovative solutions, the Employment Associate will work closely with partners and clients to achieve their objectives and navigate complex employment issues.
Responsibilities:
Provide expert advice on all aspects of employment law, including contracts, policies, discrimination, dismissal, and employee relations.
Conduct legal research and analysis to support clients in understanding and complying with employment laws and regulations.
Draft and review legal documents, including employment contracts, settlement agreements, and tribunal submissions.
Represent clients in employment tribunal proceedings and other dispute resolution forums.
Advise clients on HR best practices, including employee grievances, disciplinary procedures, and redundancies.
Keep abreast of developments in employment law and provide insights to clients on potential implications for their businesses.
Collaborate with colleagues across different practice areas to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Qualifications:
Qualified solicitor or barrister with significant experience in employment law.
Strong academic background, with a law degree from a reputable institution.
Extensive knowledge of UK employment law principles and regulations.
Proven experience advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide practical and commercial advice.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, both independently and as part of a team.
