Lead Employee Relations Advisor
An exciting role has arisen within our Employee Relations Team. Due to the overall business growth we are looking for a Lead ER Advisor to join the team to provide general ER advice and guidance to employees and managers. This position can be based in Crawley, Cheadle or Glasgow and you will need to be in the office three days a week.
The Role
The Lead Employee Relations will be responsible for leading the daily triage activities within the case load and allocate the work as well as carrying a case load. You will be providing and reporting trend analysis of caseload as well as managing and driving the resolution of a variety of ER cases across a breath of ER related areas. Such as:
Absence – All areas
Flexible Working Application amendments and rejections (including informal requests)
Sickness management – including working with ER Manager to introduce more process automation and more proactive management of cases
Probation Period extensions
Policy Advice
Death in Service
Informal performance management
Investigations into minor conduct issues
You will work closely and collaboratively with the ER Advisors and act as an escalation point to ensure proactive case strategy plans are in place for the above caseload. As the Lead ER Advisor you will need to identify patterns / trends in the ER casework that may require review or changes to current policies and procedures, or training interventions, and support the implementation of these changes. The right person will have a continuous improvement mindset along with the ability to lead a team if needed.
