As a result of a retirement there is now a vacancy for an experienced Pension Consultant to join the Employee Benefits Team!There is an existing portfolio of pension and protection schemes to service, develop and grow. If you are looking for a new Employee Benefits role within a forward-thinking wealth management business, get in touch.You will need a full UK driving licence, travel required to visit clients in Suffolk, Norwich, Cambridgeshire and Essex.Overview of the roleTo deliver high quality pension, protection and general employee benefit advice to small and medium-sized business enterprisesTo contribute to the success of the business by raising the firm’s profile and making appropriate in-house referrals to generate new incomeSupport the Director of Employee Benefits with input into projects and ideas on EB proposition developmentEnsuring their Corporate Accounts are given a professional and comprehensive serviceKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop trust in the relationships with a portfolio of clientsStrengthen and develop client relationships by listening to client needs and proposing new solutions and additional servicesLiaise with the support team to ensure smooth/timely service deliveryTo keep abreast of broader developments in the Employee Benefits field; legislative changes and new product developments, and to keep clients advised of any that are appropriate to their needs or circumstancesTo develop and maintain good working relationships with pension providers and insurersTo keep up to date with their competitors, direct insurer sales and other intermediariesAbout YouProven track record in Defined Contribution Pensions and Employee BenefitsA minimum of Dip PFS and maintaining professional competenceExperience of implementing and servicing Group Risk SchemesMaking sound judgements and decisions stemming from in depth experienceGood presentation skills and the ability to explain concepts clearlyCommunicate clearly to clients, prospects and administration teamAbility to meet deadlines and annual renewal datesGenericAble to deliver high levels of customer serviceExperience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needsHave attention to detail and accuracyIT literateDemonstrate fluent verbal, written and presentation skillsTeam working and flexibility, to promote the team ethos and act as a role modelMethodical and organised working practices to meet deadlinesProblem solving and negotiation skillsExcellent Benefits and RewardsBonus available for growing the portfolio and generating new businessSubsidised HealthcareLife Cover and Income ProtectionCashplan and Employee Assistance Programme25 days holiday + Christmas to New Year shut down + 1 day for Birthday + 1 day for Volunteering (subject to line manager approval)Professional Subscriptions, Exams and Study Resources paid forCycle to Work and Electric Vehicle SchemeClever-HR is a forward-thinking Recruitment Consultancy that provides a bespoke service to our clients within Wealth Management.Our consultants will work with you to attract key personnel into your business.Roles include Financial Advisers/Wealth Managers, Paraplanners, IFA Administration and Compliance professionals.
