Overview
Hinkley Point C is designed, built and operated to the best nuclear industry standards as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation and regulations. This includes the commitment to maintain a state of emergency preparedness to deliver an appropriate response to situations and malicious acts with radiological or non-radiological consequences.
This role will be managed by the Emergency Preparedness Lead in the Pre-Operations Directorate. This work will support the development and delivery of emergency preparedness arrangements for the Hinkley Point C operational site in line with the project milestones. The tasks will support activities related to the development of arrangements, ensuring the operational workforce is trained and all the necessary procedures implemented, ensuring facilities have the appropriate equipment, systems, as well as working with the construction emergency preparedness team to ensure a smooth transition from construction to nuclear operational arrangements.
