EMEA Commercial Finance AnalystDepartment: EMEAEmployment Type: Permanent - Full TimeLocation: Head Office, LondonDescriptionAs our Commercial Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for analysing and reporting performance across multiple Markets, Sales Channels, and Product.
You will naturally be proactive, pragmatic and an excellent communicator whilst being comfortable building trusting relationships across all levels of the Company and our external partners.
Key Responsibilities·
Partner with the Head of Commercial Finance (HoCF) and be the pivotal person in creating & producing accurate & insightful reporting, such as but not limited to weekly/monthly omnichannel Sell-Out, KPI, & stock reports. You will play a vital role in the journey to automation for the brand. Manipulating a large amount of data to produce accurate and timely reporting.·
Take part in the Month end process: delivering reporting and setting up monthly files in an orderly and logical manner (P&Ls, SI & SO, costs trackers and channel margin analysis, etc.)·
Together with the HoCF manage day-to-day commercial finance tasks including product & NDP forecasting and GWP approvals·
Work with the HoCF and the wider EMEA Team, on ad hoc analysis as requested·
Assist with Budget and forecasting processes (setting up templates, carrying out relevant checks)·
Continually assess reporting requirements with EMEA Sales and Marketing teams, monitor feedback and update reports to improve quality.·
Work closely with BI team on automation.·
To work as a team with other individuals and colleagues in the Company, sharing knowledge when appropriate, helping colleagues and promoting a spirit of mutual respect and support.·
Understand and abide by Company and departmental rules, policies and procedures.·
To carry out other duties as so requested by management at time to time.Skills, Knowledge & Expertise·
Educated to degree level (data analysis, finance, economics, Business) and/or Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA and/or International Equivalent (Licence/Bachelor or Masters) – Equivalent qualifications will also be considered.·
Relevant experience in a fast-paced retail or FMCG business – Essential·
Advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot tables, Sumifs, XLookups, Index Match) used to manipulating large amounts of data into presentable reports·
Exposure to omnichannel and/or multi markets environment would be an advantageSecond language (European: French, German, Dutch, Italian or Spanish…) would be an advantage·
Methodical and meticulous approach to tasks, accuracy and attention to detail·
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills·
Ability to multi-task whilst proactively managing multiple stakeholders expectations ·
Understanding of Business Intelligence tools, such as Tableau and D365 is desirableWhat we offer you!*
