Role: Embedded Software Engineer
Location: London
Length: 12 Month Contract
An SME in the London area is currently on the market for an Embedded Software consultant to come in and add to their small team to help push through projects they currently have in their development pipeline.
Reporting to the team leader, the candidate will have the following responsibilities:
to the evolution of the design and product roadmap.
automation tools and continuous integration methodologies;
They are looking for experience in the following;
Experience of ‘C’ software development in an embedded environment to develop low level software/firmware on microcontrollers using an IDE with RTOS and JTAG debuggers.
Experience or C/C++ Visual Studio for Windows PC.
Software/hardware integration test, debug and maintenance.
Knowledge of serial communication protocols such as UART, I2C, SPI, RS232/485, USB, modems, AT commands, TCP/IP, Ethernet and IoT messaging MQTT & AWS
The role is Hybrid, with 2-3 days spent on-site as required. They are looking for immediate joiners on a minimum 12-month contract!
