Electronics Test Engineer

Actio Technical Recruitment is seeking a skilled and motivated Electronics Test Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team in High Wycombe.
Our client is a leading Contract Electronics Manufacturer (CEM), offering manufacturing services ranging from Product Design & PCB Assembly through to full system build.

Purpose of the role
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement test plans for electronic components and systems.
* Perform detailed testing and analysis of electronic circuits and devices.
* Troubleshoot and debug electronic hardware to identify and resolve issues.
* Collaborate with design engineers to improve product reliability and performance.
* Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
* Document test procedures, results, and technical reports.
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
* Provide technical support and training to junior engineers and technicians.
About You
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Electronics Test Engineer role, and knowledge of industry standards such as IPC and ISO.
* Proficiency in using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
* Strong understanding of electronic circuits and systems.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Experience with automated test systems and software tools.
Pay and Hours
Mon-Thurs – Early finish Fridays
Up to £40K per annum, dependent on experience
