Our customer is a growing company who designs, assembles, and tests control systems for the oil and gas industry. You will be required to assist in the manufacturing, testing and repair of assemblies and sub - assemblies of the company products under the guidance of the Senior Test Engineer. Training will be provided as required, on-site and externally, to get you certified to the levels required to for fill your role and comply with the company objective standards.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct bench testing of PCB's to supplied documentation
• Fault-finding PCB's, to component level. Including rework of PCB assemblies, when required.
• Repair of client returned PCB's includes producing report, time & cost estimating for this work.
• Complete reports & documentation for, in house, customers & supplier's equipment
• Responsible for the upkeep of test records for all products tested.
• Assist with production issues on sourcing of components when they arise.
• Responsible for the upkeep of equipment calibration and test records.
• Liaise with Design Engineers for the implementation and update, as required, of test records & procedures.
• Assist the Design Department as required, in the testing of non-standard and/or new products.
• On occasion you may be required to visit various sites to assist clients with specific requirements

Experience Required:

• A recognised Qualification in Electronic Engineering.
• Ability to read & interpret Electronics Circuit Diagrams.
• Experience in circuit fault finding and repair.
• Ability to use and operate a wide variety of Electronic Test Equipment, e.g. Oscilloscopes, Waveform generators, Digital Multimeters.
• Trained and certified to IPC 610 Electronics Assemblies, IPC 620 Wiring & IPC 7711/7721 Rework.
• PC Literate in MS Office.
• Accuracy, Reliability, Confidentiality & Adaptability.
