An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an adept Electronics Support Engineer to join a leading manufacturer specializing in high-value marine-related electronic-acoustic products, including subsea and surface positioning and tracking systems. With over 30 years of establishment, this company boasts an international client base across various industry sectors, supported by a robust global distributor network.

As a Support Engineer, you will collaborate within the service and support team, focusing on the maintenance and service of both client-owned systems and our own demonstrator/trials equipment. Your responsibilities will include developing expertise to support both internal and external clients, conducting product testing, and contributing to product development. This role offers diversity, with occasional offshore requirements for trials, client training, demonstrations, and product evaluations, as well as providing support to colleagues with other equipment as needed.

Desired Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

• Qualified to degree level or equivalent in electronics or a relevant engineering subject.
• Strong communication skills.
• Observant, inquisitive, and adept at problem-solving.
• Previous experience in the marine industry is highly advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
• Willingness to participate in an out-of-hours support rota.
• Proficient in IT, with familiarity with MS Office applications.
• High standard of written and spoken English.
