Electronics Engineer

This globally recognised automotive brand is constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation. To support their future model development, we are seeking a talented and passionate Electronics Engineer join their Electrical/Electronic Components Engineering Team. As part of this team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing pioneering electrical and electronic components for integration into their motorbikes.
Key Responsibilities as Electronics Engineer:
Design electrical electronic components for various motorcycle systems including chassis, powertrain, RESS, electric drivelines, suspension systems, and HMI's.
Specify, influence, verify, and validate components to meet system requirements, safety standards, environmental standards (thermal, ingress, vibration, etc.), EMC regulations, and legal requirements.
Identify and resolve application problems and project risks at both component and motorcycle levels.
Define and meet quality/cost targets and manage component delivery to support New Model Introduction Plan (NMIP).
Elicit and manage hardware requirements, providing support to Functional Safety (FuSa) activities such as diagnostic coverage and safety case generation, as well as collaborating with systems, software, and modeling teams.
Identify current best practices and emerging technological advances, contributing to appropriate working groups and departments.
