Orion are exclusively supporting our client located in the heart of North West London. Our client specializes in the Research & Devlopment and production of imaging equipment uniquely used by the life science and medical technology sectors.


At their London facility, they meticulously manufacture their unique product which goes through a rigorous and complex manufacturing process. As they continue to expand their production capacity as well as continually look at ways to better their product offering -  ways in which they do this is where your role with them becomes of paramount importance. The Electronics Engineer holds a pivotal role within the company, serving as a key liaison across various organizational tiers. They collaborate closely with design engineers and other departments like Quality Engineering and Production Shop Floor, fostering seamless communication and integration throughout the business.

What will you be doing as their Electronics Engineer? 



  • Create and define a variety of different test plans and experiments to ensure New Product Introduction is effective (as most products are bespoke the test plans will be variable) 

  • Publish test findings via technical reporting, detailing test analysis results as well as product yield data 

  • Perform and execute the testing on both exisiting product as well as collaborating with the R&D teams on new products. 

  • Collaborate with the mainstream teams such as Production & Quality Engineering teams on product failure reports and where the right improvements could be made 


What do you need to demonstrate to be considered for the Electronics Engineer? 



  • Either a BEng or MSc in either Electronics or Electrical Engineering

  • A good grasp of software coding (you dont need to be a coding extraordinaire!) but we need to see that you understand basic programming language 

  • A minimum of 2 years working in a similar role - so it could be that you are a; Test Engineer, Applications Engineer or Product Engineer - within electronic or electrical engineering 

  • Strong working knowledge of manufacturing systems such as MRP as well as MS Office programmes too
