A competitive starting salary of �41,000, inclusive of shift allowance an�increase to �46,000 after a 12-month familiarisation period.
Role Essentials:
- Adept at reactive and preventive maintenance to a wide range of combustion / instrumentation and control systems
- Proficient in performing calibrations and configuring various types of instruments
- Skilled in reading and interpreting complex technical diagrams and specifications
- Capable of adhering to safety standards and regulations pertinent to the field
- Assist in the efficient planning and running of the process control function through following routine planned maintenance schedules, quality assurance and the coordination responses to breakdowns.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation (HNC/ONC or equivalent)
- Competence in 16th / 17th Edition I.E.T. Wiring Regulations.
- Proven experience in an Instrument / Control / Electrical experience within industrial systems
- Calibration of instrumentation
- A solid understanding of electronic systems and their applications in an industrial setting
- Familiarity with PLCs, control systems, and associated software would be advantageous
- Experience of CCTV and audio communications system
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and work with technical data
