Planet Pharma have collaborated with a global pharmaceutical company who are currently seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Building Services Technician who will be supporting to deliver a high standard of mechanical and electrical services throughout the EKC business, within the estates engineering team. To plan and undertake routine scheduled maintenance of plant and/or equipment with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Carry out routine planned preventative maintenance as required within critical and non-critical environments.
The closure of remedial and service requests
Work is carried out in accordance with current regulations and safety standards.
Monitor BMS for running equipment and responding to alarm conditions.
Investigate mechanical/electrical faults, identify root cause and corrective remedies.
Assist when and where required with installation work and small projects.
Provide support to other team members in accordance with experience and competencies.
To ensure documentation required for statutory, H&S and GxP standards are completed and filed.
Arrange contractor site inductions and enabling work to start safely.
Propose ideas/initiatives for continuous Improvement to streamline, increase efficiency or reduce cost.
Assessment of critical spares, reviewing supply and storage needs.
Requirements:
City & Guilds electrical qualification or equivalent (BS7671 & C&G 2391)
City & Guilds mechanical qualification or equivalent
Educated to ONC/HNC
Engineering experience in similar regulated environment
Good awareness of Health and Safety
Multi-Skilled in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
Experience on steam boilers – blowdowns and water treatment.
VSD’s, motor controls and relay logic
Domestic and low temperature hot water systems.
AHU’s, FCU’s, chilled water and compressed air systems
Experience of CMMS and BMS systems
