Electrician

Job Title: Mobile Electrical Engineer

Location: Cornwall

Salary: £36000 with company van and fuel card

Our client is a leading facilities management business. The Mobile Electrical Engineer is responsible for conducting Electrical Services, Planned Maintenance (PPMs), Reactive works, M&E repairs, and minor basic fabric repairs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) in accordance with set SFG20 engineering standards, ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act and company safety procedures.


• Respond promptly to Reactive Works, addressing Mechanical & Electrical issues as well as minor fabric repairs.


• Participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota as required.


• Ensure accurate and timely completion of paperwork in line with company policy.


• Generate engineering condition reports and quotations.


• Conduct logbook auditing.


• Demonstrate strong customer interface skills.

Technical Skills / Knowledge:

• Proficiency in primary trade with valid certification.


• Delivery of service excellence.


• Basic understanding and proactive approach to related trade skills, including:


• Electrical: Competent fault finding; 18th Edition; C&G 2330 levels 2 & 3; NVQ levels 2 & 3; C&G 2391 Test & Inspection; electrical servicing; basic controls.


• Miscellaneous: Meter reading; emergency light testing; water temperature recording; alarm testing; basic small fabric repairs.
