A sporting venue based in Wearside is searching for an Electrician to join their business on a full time permanent basis.

You will take responsibility for installing electrical systems, repairing, testing, fault finding and maintaining power throughout all facilities.

Your role

· Maintain, repair test and certify all current electrical systems in and around the site

· Intercept equipment failure and avoid breakdowns before they occur with a planned preventative maintenance

· Carry out inspections of electrical installations throughout the facility

· Support the maintenance team with general tasks such as plumbing and repairing broken or faulty items

Your experience

· Experienced carrying out electrical maintenance and installations

· At least a NVQ Level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent City and Guilds

· Experience working within a commercial setting is a must
