Electrical Technicians

Carbon60 are currently looking for multiple electrical Technicians to work on a Thames Water sites based near the Reading area , this a fantastic opportunity with long term work.

Electrical Technicans - Water Projects

Location:Reading area

Rate:�325 per day limited company

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of electrical works, ensuring safety checks and industry standards are met.
• Respond promptly to progress updates and requests from the ICA Lead.
• Liaise with other site teams to ensure timely completion of works.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure compliance with required standards.
• Provide quality assurance and highlight necessary corrections during site works.
• Monitor and report progress against plan, addressing any delays with the ICA Lead.
• Communicate effectively with site teams during commissioning phases.
• Offer electrical support and knowledge to other team members.
• Complete handover documentation within specified timelines.
• Obtain NIC Certification for handover.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Experience in industrial electrical works, with a preference for water industry experience.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with Brodersen systems is desirable.
• Proficiency in quality assurance and backup control is advantageous.
• Possession of 18th Edition IEE Regulations certification.
• Knowledge of SCADA/Tep 2/Tep1 systems is desirable.
• Hold an ECS Card.
• Certification/qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Water Card (EUSR) and Thames Water Passport are beneficial but not essential.
• 2391 Inspection and CompEX certifications are desirable.
