Electrical Technician - Day Shifts
Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an Electrical Technician to be be part of a multi-disciplined diagnostic team responding to breakdowns & completing planned maintenance working 12hr days.
The Role:
* Support the departments Shift Management team (Production and Engineering) to ensure Safety, Quality and Production Plans are all met.
* Work across-site as required to support the business objectives.
* Carry out planned and unplanned maintenance activities on all aspects of plant and equipment on site.
* Self organise and prioritise work requirements and manage accordingly as directed by the team leader, section engineer or shift manager.
* Assist in developing maintenance practices and procedures to improve.
* Ensure all legalisation relating to all systems is met.
* Have involvement in creating RA SWP & JTD’s.
* Complete point of work risk assessments.
* Ensure all equipment is maintained to the required standard liaising with all members of the engineering department as required.
* Involvement in plant improvement projects.
Requirements:
* A recognised engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent).
* Sound plant engineering knowledge and experience of industrial systems.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to methodically fault find any issues to root cause and front line rectification.
* Experience of working under permit systems previously or has knowledge of how permit systems operate.
Salary: £42,807.42 Total package (including shift allowance).
