36 hours per week working to 8am until 4pm Monday - Thursday and 8am - 2pm on a Friday.

About the role:

My client is investing in and expanding its Property Maintenance Team and has new opportunities for qualified Electrical Systems Engineer to join the Group. Their tenants are at the heart of what we do at Gentoo, therefore, providing excellent customer service is paramount in this role. You will need to be a people person with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of teams, colleagues, and customers to ensure we deliver excellent customer service every time.
As an Electrical Systems Engineer you would carry out the following tasks across our housing stock in Sunderland:
* Servicing of Intruder alarm systems
* Remedial repairs for Intruder alarm and door entry systems
* Remedial repairs for Access Control / Automatic doors
* Non-domestic lighting repairs
* Fire Alarm Servicing
* Inspection of Heating control / BMS panels
You will be required to work with minimum supervision both independently and as part of a wider team. You will have the opportunity to work with a supportive and highly experienced team, where you will be offered training opportunities and continuous professional development through monthly team meetings, sharing best practice, and bi-monthly technical talks.

What they are looking for:
* A full UK Driving License
* It's essential you are conversant and competent to carry out works in accordance with the current Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations/BS7671 plus all ongoing revisions thereto.
* Demonstrate that you hold an NVQ Level 3 in an electrical discipline.
* To have completed an AM2 practical trade test Qualification
* It is desirable to have completed a recognised (Indentured) Electrical apprenticeship with City & Guilds in electrical installation or equivalent.
* A basic DBS check, paid for by client.
