Electrical Supervisor

Due to continued growth, our client, a true market leader within the private education sector is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to help support their day-to-day operations on-site.

Duties

• Overseeing and aiding in all electrical tasks to ensure they meet high standards


• Training and guiding apprentice electricians


• Handling certification and documentation for installations and inspections


• Coordinating with external contractors for both unplanned and scheduled maintenance


• Prioritising tasks with an emphasis on safety, infrastructure maintenance and various electrical projects


• Managing and reviewing the electrical work budget alongside the Head of Facilities


• Ensuring sufficient stock levels for electrical supplies


• Ordering materials in compliance with company policy


• Leading in problem-solving within the department

Hours / Salary / Perks

• 40 hours per week


• Salary of £40,000 - £45,000

Must-Have

• Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations and relevant electrical certifications (ECS/JIB/SSSTS/2391 Testing etc)


• Previous supervisory experience


• Participation in an on-call rotation post probation


• A valid UK driving licence and good communication skills are necessary
