Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Standby: 1 week in every 4 weeksWe are advertising this Electrical Supervisor role on behalf of our client ‘City Facilities Management’. City also has a global presence with offices in the UK, Europe, North America, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.Job Description –To maintain and repair a range of electrical, mechanical plant and equipment within retail outlets for a key national customer in a cost effective and efficient way.Comply with company health and safety policies and procedures. Undertaking regular planned store visits, completing PPM tasks and minor repairs as requested by the customer.Work will include multi-skill elements including basic plumbing, joinery and building repairs as well as core electrical tasks.Ensure under performance on KPI’s is understood and action plans are in place to drive improvementSupport the Divisional Account Manager on all technical / electrical issuesComplete specified reports and compliance documentation and act on any issues raisedParticipate in the recruitment and selection process of vacanciesPeople ResponsibilityThis role is currently responsible for managing a team of electricians (around 5). As the business grows the team size may increases accordinglyQualifications required –You must be a fully qualified electrician with City and Guilds 236 Parts 1 and 2 Electrical Installation or NVQ Level 3.C&G 2391 Testing and Inspection is desirable for this role but not an essential qualificationYou must have an 18th edition certificateYou must have a valid UK driving licenceYou must have a flexible attitude to workThis role also includes a call out rota of 1 in every 4 weeks covering evenings and weekends.Please only apply if you are comfortable working on an on-call rota of 1 in every 4 weeksPlease only apply if you are comfortable providing a combination of both electrical and general building maintenance.To apply please send an up to date CV to Andrew Bridges at PDA SEARCH & SELECTIONFind a Job
