Electrical Project Manager - Luton - Commercial and Domestic projects

A specialist design and build M&E contractor are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to be based in their office in Luton predominately covering projects in the Home Counties with some projects in London.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding office for a reputable M&E business. They cover a wide range of sectors including various commercial and domestic projects, which typical project values from £5,000 to £1m.
As the Electrical Project Manager, you will be responsible to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure the projects are completed according to schedule and budget undertaking effective planning to make sure the projects completed are profitable.
You will also be required to manage a material, subcontractor, installation, procurement and drawing programme in accordance with installation and specification requirements. Throughout the installation its essential you manage labour and subcontractors ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation.
Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:
· Time Served Apprentice or relevant Electrical qualifications.
· Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level.
· Effective planning and project management skills.
· Experience of working on large new build projects.
· Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods.
· Consistently good financial returns on projects, taking into account all relevant factors.
· Good people management and motivational skills.
· The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
· The ability to plan, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads.
· Strong results orientation.
· Hold valid SMSTS.
Salary and benefits:
· £52,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
· 25 days holiday with 1 day added per year up to max of 30 days
