Position: Electrical Project Engineer
Location: Brighton (Hybrid)
Salary: £50k-£60k p.a

Primary Role/Responsibilities
Provide a professional Electrical/Electronic Engineering service to support project requirements
To achieve a satisfactory conclusion to allocated projects
Provide support as and when necessary to Sales team on new customer enquiries
Assist with generation and review of technical and commercial proposals
Review customer supplied standards & requirements.
Generate project documentation (schematics, manuals, test procedures etc)
Preparation/Delivery of internal & external training courses
Specification & design of Electrical components & assemblies
Liaison with customers regarding electrical/electronic & mechanical interfaces, maintaining good working relationships with customers
Validation testing of cabinets/electrical assemblies (In house)
To provide technical support to production department for electrical/cabinet systems
To provide technical support to the field service group on electrical systems
Support of procurement of Electrical components, maintaining good working relationships with suppliers
Managing the draughting of electrical components & assemblies
Managing revision control of electrical drawings & technical manuals
Track developments in manufacturing techniques/ maintain up to date manufacturing processes
Drive Continuous improvements
Other job-related functions as may be required
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in inverter drive systems
PLC systems
Plant Installation
Experience of design for certification for EMC, Machinery’s, & low voltage Directives
Experience of design for certification for hazardous areas
Qualifications:
1st/2:1 Honours Degree in electrical/electronic engineering
