Electrical Project Engineer

We are actively looking for Electrical Project Engineers, with design experience, to join a large design & build Contractor that delivers major Infrastructure projects across the UK's Rail, Highways, Water , Renewable Energy and Power sectors .As an Electrical Project Engineer you would get the opportunity to work across all these sectors, developing detailed designs in partnership with the client and the project delivery teams.You would be working out of the organisations office in London ( EC4M) & on project sites in London .As an Electrical Project Engineer you could be involved at varying stages of each project including tendering, design & engineering, support to installation and handover.Broadly your responsibilities could include (DOE) :
* Undertaking electrical engineering and design (up to 33KV level)
* Undertaking electrical design reviews to ensure buildability and constructability.
* Ensure Design Risk Assessment (DRA) is compliant with installation parameters.
* Provide engineered solutions to satisfy each clients requirements & budget.
* Review drawings for clash detection issues
* Liaison with project installation teams to ensure design suitability & solve key installation issues on site.
* Work with the commercial department to track design change and variances.This is a varied an interesting role requiring Electrical Engineers who have had previous experience working on UK Infrastructure projects.The successful candidates must have /be all of the following:A Degree in Electrical Engineering or similarElectrical Design experience gained from within the UK's Water, Rail, Power, Renewable Energy or HighwaysKnowledge of relevant electrical engineering and installations legislation and standards.Knowledge of engineering and design processes and associated complianceExperience of using of Electrical design packages (Amtech/Trimble, Cymap, ETAP, etc)The successful candidate will be rewarded withA basic salary ranging from £60k-£85k (DOE)Perk box giving you 24/7 access to perks, benefits, discounts & wellbeing tools3 x Life Assurance,BUPA Private Medical Insurance.Pension scheme (4% ER and 5% EE)25 days holiday + BH (3-4 to be used for Christmas shut down).You will also benefit from regular career appraisals, training & development, and career progression opportunities
