Job title: Maintenance Engineer - Electrically Biased

Salary: £39,300 Plus Overtime

Location: Port Talbot

Holiday: 33 Days

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer, fully electrical or electrically biased and looking for an exciting new opportunity? Would you like to join an established, multi-site, successful manufacturing business based at its Part Talbot facility?

The Role:

As the Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for providing breakdown cover to keep a busy, fast paced manufacturing plant running through the shift.

Duties will include:

• Reactive maintenance of up to 15 production machines
• Liaise with other key stakeholders
• Fault find
• Carry out running repairs to ensure shift productivity is not affected, whilst further additional repairs are planned

The Successful Candidate:

• Qualification in relevant electrical engineering
• Ideally time served apprenticeship
• Minimum of 3 years, recent experience in a similar fast paced production environment
• Some mechanical maintenance experience & ability
• Able to fault find and carry out necessary repairs
• Able to read electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic drawings

Hours Of Work: Panama shift pattern

• 6am to 6pm - 2 days, then 2 days off
• 6pm to 6am - 2 days, then 2 days off
• 6am to 6pm - 3 days, then 3 days off
• 6pm to 6am - 3 days, then 3 days off
• Repeat the above

In Return:

• Salary £39,300 plus overtime paid at x 1½ & x 2
• 33 days holiday
