Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Engineering Supervisor looking to work a permanent day shift, Monday - Friday? Have you got experience working in a Heavy Engineering environment such as forging, refractory, steel or foundry? Then we might have the perfect opportunity for you! We are recruiting for a thriving company based locally to Brierley Hill/Dudley who are looking to appoint an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor / Manager to the team on a permanent basis.

What will your day to day activities as an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor include?  

The role, based in the Brierley Hill/Dudley area, will require the successful candidate to manage a team of 4 – 5 engineers ensuring that motivation levels are high and to ensure the department is as organised and efficient as possible. This role will be responsible for the smooth running of the production plant and will include being hands on maintaining and repairing a variety of electrical heavy industrial equipment. This position will be on a permanent day shift, Monday – Friday, and will require weekend work possibly once or twice a month (weekend overtime is paid).

What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?


  • Experience and strong knowledge of Electrics and PLC is essential.
  • Experience with Mechanics, Fabrication, Hydraulics, Welding & Pneumatics would be advantageous
  • Experience within a management/supervisory/team lead position would be advantageous (although we will be able to consider a strong Electrical Engineer with a desire for progression).
  • Experience working in a steel/forging/foundry/refractory or similar environment.
  • IOSH and HNC in Engineering qualified.
  • Confidence with Microsoft office.
  • First Aid training is desirable
  • Good level of physical fitness.
  • Happy working in a smaller team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Highly motivated with the ability to motivate and engage others
  • Good work ethic, punctual and reliable.

What's on offer? 


  • A salary of £40,000 - £45,000 for an Electrical Engineer without previous Supervisory experience.
  • A salary of £45,000 - £55,000 for an Electrical Engineer with previous Supervisory experience.
