A large Automotive Manufacturing company with multiple international operations are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join their Assembly Team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising a team responding to technical issues affecting production and maintaining mechanical & electrical machinery.

The Role and Responsibilities

• Candidate for this role will require PLC and electrical maintenance experience and ideally be used to a fast-paced automotive environment.


• Create plans to reduce machine downtime.


• Ability to manage budgets, improve departmental performance and achieve departmental KPI targets.


• Experience of maintaining and interrogating PLC systems (Mitsubishi, Omron, Siemens, Fanuc currently used on site)


• Experience of maintaining and interrogating Drive systems (Mitsubishi, ABB & Reliance currently used on site)

Knowledge and Experience

• Experience in a maintenance role within a busy manufacturing company ideally Automotive


• Work and liaise with a range of internal departments and external suppliers


• Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, environment, and quality management system


• Work within 5S methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard


• HNC or equivalent Qualification in engineering Electrical engineering discipline
