Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Peterborough (PE1)

Commutable from Corby, Stamford, March, Chatteris, Spalding, Bourne, Wisbech
£39,264 + overtime

Mon-Saturday 3x12-hour shifts days and nights

Our client is a leading manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to continued customer growth they are looking for a Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Carried out mainly planned preventative maintenance and servicing schedules on night shift
  • Reactive Maintenance when breakdowns or faults accur
  • Carry out both electrical & some mechanical fault finding
  • Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency
  • Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance & improvement works

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

ESSENTIAL:

  • Have an electrical background and qualification - HND/Apprenticeship/Degree
  • Have experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Be experienced with Electrical Industrial maintenance and repairs

DESIRABLE:

  • 18TH edition wiring regulations
  • Experience in labelling, cardborad or print environments
  • Mechanical repairs/service experience and knowledge
