Electrical Maintenance Engineer

A global manufacturing company based in Newcastle Under Lyme require an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their large established engineering team to work to on their shift work (2 days, 2 nights).
Working in a fast paced production facilities across a wide range of equipment, assets and electrical systems, the position will be required to do undertake a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks. Key responsibilities include:
Fault finding and repair on a range of electrical systems (DC motors, AC Drives and Invertors, Siemens S7 PLCs, High voltage assets, 3 phase systems, Instrumentation).
Ensure that software is backed up and plant electrical documentation is available and kept up to date
Improving and updating PPMs and ensuring all tasks are correctly logged in the CMMS system.
Work to identify future planned maintenance requirements
Organise and control contractors providing both on and off site maintenance and services, refurbishment and modifications
The successful candidate will have electrical maintenance experience gained within manufacturing or an industrial setting and have a recognised apprenticeship in an electrical discipline. 18th Edition and/or experience of fault finding or Siemens experience would be beneficial
The opportunity is Shift (4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights) and as well as a competitive salary the position comes with overtime pay, plus benefits.
The position might be suitable for people of have held roles such as: Electrical Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician or Maintenance Technician.
