About the Opportunity:



Our esteemed client, located on the outskirts of Leeds, is actively seeking a talented Skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. As a market-leading business renowned for its exceptional culture, this opportunity promises a fulfilling career path.



Job details:




  • Addressing electrical (and occasionally mechanical) breakdowns swiftly and efficiently.

  • Performing routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.

  • Responding promptly to factory needs, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Implementing machinery modifications as required.

  • Expertly diagnosing faults and conducting troubleshooting activities.

  • Maintaining open communication with the Engineering Manager to ensure seamless operations.

  • Working hours: 9 hours per week. Shifts are 14:30-23:00 / 6:00 – 14:30 on a rotating shift.



About you:




  • A recognized Engineering Apprenticeship/Qualification.

  • City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering and NVQ Parts 1,2 & 3.

  • Proven experience in electrical fault finding and diagnostics.

  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Strong problem-solving skills honed through practical engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.

  • Understanding of how Programmable Logic Controllers work.
