Electrical Maintenance Engineer

The companyis a renowned, established and a very successful steel processorwho are enjoying significant growth, success and investment. They are seeking to recruit an electrical biased maintenance engineer/fitter to further strengthen their team.
You will part of a friendlyteam and report to the engineeringmanager and be responsible for the following;
To carry out electricalrepairs to the plant machinery such as de-coilers, presses, slitters when breakdowns arise
Undertake preventative maintenance on machinery to reduce breakdowns and a reduction in production output
Completion of machine installations
Any electrical work required to lighting and any electrical facilities maintenancework on the site
Completion of work reports and completion of maintenance log book
As an electrical maintenance technician you will need to hold the following skills and experience.
Experienced working in an electrical maintenance role in a heavy production environment
Previous experience of working on slitters, presses, de-coiling machines would be advantageous
A good electrical aptitude
Hydraulics and Pneumatics working knowledge
Hold a relevant qualification in ElectricalEngineering (such as NVQ or City & Guilds)
Willing to work a 3 shift rotation shift and be flexible with working hours
Salary up to £36,000 per annum
