Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing business in their search for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Telford.

For the successful Electrical Maintenance Engineer our client is offering:

• Salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum D.O.E
• Day shift (08:00 - 16:30, monday - friday)
• Permanent position
• Free on site parking

The role – Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Dealing with breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise loss of production
• Fault finding and rectifying
• Dealing with both electrical & mechanical issues
• Installation of new machinery within the manufacturing facility
• Planned preventative maintenance
• Working with PLC Controls
• Continuous improvement throughout the plant
• Create & implement a preventative maintenance schedule to cover all equipment
• Provide guidance and recommendations to production manager regards to new equipment and working practices 
• Identification and suggestions about actions to maintain/improve machine/plant performance

What our client is looking for in an Electrical Maintenance Engineer:

• Experience within a similar role - ESSENTIAL
• Higher diploma/NVQ electrical qualification - ESSENTIAL
• 17th or 18th Edition certificate - ESSENTIAL
• Good mechanical knowledge - ESSENTIAL
