Job Title: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Shifts Pattern: 4 on 4 off, alternating days and nights
Salary: £37,500 basic + Additional Pay = Total £43,000 + per annum
My client, an established plastic manufacturing company, is seeking a competent multi-skilled maintenance engineer to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. They are a 40 year old family run business who work very closely together and each play a massive part in the improvement and maintenance of the site.
They are a multi-skilled experienced team of professional engineers with a variety of backgrounds and different level skills set so not only will you be able to learn but you will also need to assist with training of the junior members / apprentices.
Furthermore, you should be a team player, show ambition to progress your career with this multinational site company and be comfortable with working on an industrial site.
Several years experience as an industrial multiskilled engineer handling both planned and reactive maintenance.
Experience working within electrical and mechanical faults particularly production / manufacturing equipment such as hydraulics, controls / plc fault finding, pumps and three phase motors, packaging machinery, Allen Bradley / Siemens automated control systems.
Previous experience with injection moulding or plastic manufacturing (Prefered)
Hold an NVQ level 3 or above in electrical/mechanical engineering.
Experience with electrical systems and circuits and be able to read both electrical and mechanical drawings.
Willingness to further skill set and complete necessary training and progress through the company's unique grading system.
