Russell Taylor are looking for a experienced Electrical Estimator in Edinburgh
Responsibilities:

Review tender documents, specs, and drawings to understand electrical work scope.
Create detailed, competitive estimates for projects of different sizes.
Collaborate with the team to get accurate pricing and quotes.
Evaluate subcontractor/supplier quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure compliance.
Work closely with project management on budgets and schedules.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and material costs.
Attend tender review meetings and contribute to negotiations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably in M&E contracting.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
Ability to price tenders for varied electrical works.
Proficiency in estimating software.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Technical qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field desirable.
