A fully hands-on role for an engineer with experience managing a team or for someone looking to extend their current experience. This is a position with wide-ranging responsibilities and opportunities.

You will report to the Engineering Manager, and you'll enjoy direct responsibility for both day-to-day and longer-term provision of electrical engineering maintenance at this advanced facility. You will liaise throughout with other supervisors to ensure all Planned and Preventative, reactive, and breakdown maintenance cover is provided. You will also be involved in commissioning, testing, and installation of new equipment.

In addition, you will see overall control for the management of processes and procedures to oversee successful completion of production targets whilst working with all departments and the engineering manager. Active involvement in contractor management and small projects, as well as critical spares provision, the rollout of lean systems, and 'out of hours' response as required.

It is essential you have amassed considerable experience gained in a production environment had supervisory/management experience and have an 18^th edition qualification.

• Capable of applying your problem-solving skills and knowledge of continuous improvement to good effect, especially in the areas of repetitive breakdown.
• Computer literate and have first-rate organisation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Able to consistently deliver when working under pressure, as well as being committed to both individual and team successes.

The position attracts a competitive salary and benefits which will be disclosed completely at the time of interview but reflects the importance of this position to the company. Although a weekday position there will be occasions when weekend working is required.
