Electrical Engineering Manager

Location: London, United Kingdom | Full timePoGo Charge are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the electrical engineering aspects of our EV Charing Point installations. The role will involve the design and specification of electrical equipment, review and advice of DNO designs, battery technology and power generation, value engineering and much more. The right candidate must have a very keen eye for detail and precision.This role is home based. Key responsibilities: Engage with Network Development team on power requirements and site limitationsCreation and ongoing ownership of an Electrical Operating ProcedureCompletion of site specific electrical designsSpecification of electrical equipmentReview of internal and external drawings and designsEnsure all projects comply with Health and Safety regulations and guidelinesProvide technical guidance to team as requiredAttend and contribute to project meetingsImplementation of battery technologies and power generation opportunitiesYour ProfileWhat we are looking forExcellent ability to communicate orally and in writing at all levels in the organisationAble to work under pressure and make important decisionsElectrical engineering experience is essentialDesign experience is idealBattery industry experience preferredExcellent administration and co-ordination skills to ensure drawings are controlledStrong motivation to deliver with a well-organised and structured approachAbility to work autonomously but aware of when to escalate situationsTeam player who actively seeks out continuous improvementHands on electrical backgroundEV Charging and/or Battery industry experience preferredAutoCAD literacy idealExperience with DNO’sExperience, or good understanding, of the requirements of EV charging installationRight to work in the UKWhat we offerAs well as providing a competitive salary and benefits package, we actively run employee opinion surveys as part of our drive to provide a comfortable and supportive working environment.
