Join us in driving the transition to a sustainable future.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as an Electrical and Power Electronics Engineer. At ZPN Energy, you will be responsible for designing and implementing power electronics and electrical systems for EV charging, microgrids, and mobile energy storage, ensuring power distribution and optimal performance of power systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include electrical design, troubleshooting and repair, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support project implementation and testing. You will play a crucial role in contributing to the success of our innovative energy solutions.Experience of EVs, Batteries, BMS, BESS and all associated systems are a must.We are not sponsoring applicants at this time please do not apply unless you live in the Coventry/Birmingham/Leicester area, can work in the UK and have relevant experience.Essential QualificationsElectrical Design, Electricity, and Electrical Engineering skillsExperience in power distribution and power systemsExperience of EV chargers, OCPP and firmwareExperience of Battery BMS, integrations of battery systemsExperience of On site renewables and microgridsUnderstanding of firmware and programming languagesStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesUnderstanding of sustainable energy technologiesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyMinimum of Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldWe offer a great package for the right individual with a fast growing leader in this field.
