Job Description
We are currently looking for a Electrical Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for both reactive and pre planned maintenance and/or calibration of electrical equipment and utilities.
This is an initial 6 month contract with likely extension up to 2 years.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Electrical Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. As the Electrical Engineer, you will support the Maintenance, Calibration, Repair and Continuous Improvement of Pharmaceutical manufacturing Utilities from an Electrical perspective.
2. As the Electrical Engineer, you will demonstrate excellent knowledge of Atex directives, Uninterrupted Power Systems (UPS) and Lighting Systems. Some knowledge of Electrical Control Systems would be an advantage.
3. As the Electrical Engineer, you will demonstrate diagnostics and problem solving skills as well as the ability to lead and participate in multiple project activities.
4. As the Electrical Engineer, you will perform both reactive and pre planned maintenance on-site along side various other project dependant tasks.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Electrical Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree/Apprenticeship in an Electrical Engineering related field.
2. Proven experience working in a GMP Manufacturing environment.
3. Working Knowledge and practical experience working as an Electrical biased maintenance engineer maintaining Plant facilities and Utilities.
