About the Role:
- Responsible for the setup and maintenance of all electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems on equipment used in the production process.
- Collaborates closely with the engineering group to monitor and enhance processes for output and waste levels.
- Provides leadership and training for associates on the production floor, fostering a positive attitude and excellent team skills.
- Takes ownership of process performance issues and drives operational improvements proactively.
About You:
- Demonstrated technical proficiency in working with various production equipment.
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic equipment, with the ability to identify and rectify equipment deficiencies promptly.
- Familiarity with current and pioneering technology across diverse fields, including electronic controls, high-speed assembly operations, standards development, statistical engineering, and data collection systems (MES, Scada, etc.).
- Proficiency in PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) operations, robotics, maintenance, programming, and the ability to interpret schematics, machining, tooling design, tooling assembly, part drawings, and pneumatic schematics.
- Ability to interpret and understand basic Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's) ladder logic.
- Proficient in troubleshooting Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC's), with a preference for experience with Allen Bradley systems.
- Strong skills in electrical industrial systems and adherence to specifications, procedures, and verbal requirements.
- Must have gained experience in a product�manufacturing environment.
