The successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for creating the tools and providing support and guidance to the Design / Production teams in order to build and complete the projects in line with the customer requirements and specifications.
The role will include but no limited to:
- Creating Electrical schematics inclusive of cable schedules/calculations/single-line diagrams/block diagrams / I/O lists
- Creating BOM's/engineering documentation.
- Assist the power electronics team members with integration of electrical design.
- Undertake and ensure design data/simulations/calculations are captured and stored (technical design file).
- Creation & compilation of operation & maintenance manuals.
- Creation & performing of RAMS/FMEA's/HAZID's/HAZOP's/Final inspections/validation of electrical designs
To be successful in this role of Electrical Engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:
- Academically qualified - HNC Electrical and/or Electronic or above.
- Circa 10 years experience working within an Electrical Engineering position.
- Sound foundation and knowledge of Power Electronics would be advantageous.
- Familiar with mechanical assembly of devices and copper busbar systems.
- Knowledge of panel assembly/fabrication techniques.
- Previous knowledge of design/manufacturing processes & control panels.
- Good knowledge of electrical standards/compliance
- Full UK clean driving license (travel may be required on an ad hoc basis).
