Electrical Engineer/Senior Electrical Engineer

Working on behalf of a well established client, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer and a Senior Electrical Engineer on a permanent basis.
Our Client is a dynamic company that provides Engineering Consultancy and Design Services to organisations in the energy sector.
As an Electrical Engineer you will be required to undertake an Electrical design role on high pressure pipeline and plant systems, working to high engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by the clients.
Ideally, you will have experience working within utility, pipeline or related industries, and have good working knowledge of the applicable design codes including BS7671 – electrical wiring regulations and British Standards.
You will have gained an Electrical Engineering degree, and be registered with an appropriate institution. You also will be working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.
The successful candidate will also be expected to carry out Instrumentation designs, and a knowledge of instrumentation systems would be an advantage.
In addition, it would be advantageous if you had C&G 2396 electrical design qualification and knowledge / experience of the following:
AMTECH
Autocad 2D
ATEX / DSEAR Compliance
Formal Process Safety Assessments i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, HAZCON, SWDS
Safety Integrity (BS EN 61508 / BS EN 61511)
