Electrical/Electronics Technician

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a full time Electrical Technician to join the Electrical Workshop team. The Electrical Technician will report to the Electrical Workshop Team Leader, with the primary purpose of the job being the maintenance, repair and assembly of aircraft components such as small appliances, sensors, ovens, water boilers, seats, amongst others.

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspection and diagnosis of electrical components, repairs, and parts replacement requirements.
  • Disassembly and cleaning of electronic aircraft components.
  • Repair and parts replacement of electronic Aircraft components.
  • Reassembly of aircraft electronic Aircraft components to required standards and timeframe.
  • Work in accordance with technical publications.
  • Correlate all work carried out in accordance with part 145 requirements.
  • Adheres to all Company standard operating procedures.
  • Adheres to all health and safety procedures.
  • Meets workshop quality and housekeeping standards.
  • Ensures all activity and works delivered meets the Company quality standards.
  • Ensures all administration and systems inputs meets agreed standards.

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • The ideal candidate should have considerable experience as an Electrical/Electronics Technician
  • Disassembly, inspection, repair and reassembly of small appliances, lighting, small cables, wiring harnesses and soldering in aviation, motor, production, or manufacturing industries.
  • Preferably experience in trimming and upholstery within aviation or motor manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with technical publications and Commercial Aerospace operational standards is advantageous.
  • PCB repair experience
  • Follow instruction manuals and work off own initiative
  • Proficiency in IT, including Word and Excel,
  • A readiness to grasp industry-specific software.
  • The individual must exhibit strong teamwork, a proactive attitude toward learning, discipline, keen attention to detail, and self-motivation.
