Electrical Design Engineer
Monday - Friday
Salary £38K - £45K
Full Time - Permanent
This is NOT a trainee or graduate role and we are NOT looking for a complete newbie with no experience. You must have a minimum of 3 - 4 years' experience to be considered for this role.
We are looking for an experienced electrical design engineer for a busy independent company that is working on some truly outstanding high value projects now with more on the horizon.
You will be responsible for:
Organising your workload, whilst working on multiple projects.
Collaborating with the mechanical & sustainability engineers on projects.
Overall electrical design and calculation works for LV Distribution, Lighting, small power, fire and security alarms.
Attend and participate in team & customer meetings.
Work with junior team members to help their development.
Reporting directly to the senior electrical engineer or project/business director
What skills / experience is needed for this role?
You need to have at least 3 - 4 years' experience within electrical design engineering, ideally within commercial/industrial construction. In addition to:
A working knowledge of current building regulations, IEE Wiring regs, British standards
CIBSE & BSRIA documentation.
Previous experience with AutoCAD, Revit & Hevacomp
At minimum you will also need to be working towards member of CIBSE/IET accreditation.
This role offers you:
Salary of £38k - £45k
