Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Cambridge (CB3)

Duration: 2 months initially

Hours: 8am until 4pm (Monday to Friday)

Salary: �25 per hour

Polytec are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer for our client based in Cambridge. This contract is initially for 2 months, but could be extended.

Responsibilities:

* Update and improve the electrical wiring on prototype instruments

Requirements:

* Experience using design tools to create system wiring diagrams

* Experience wiring complex electrical systems

* Soldering & crimping skills

* Surface mount PCB manual rework

* Experience with electrical safety of machines, mains powered products to 61010 / 60204

* An electrical qualification would be beneficial
