Responsibilities:
Oversee design services, utilizing internal and external resources effectively.
Agree on safety, commercial, and operational targets with the contract team.
Regularly monitor and review performance against agreed internal and external targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
Plan and manage workloads to meet customer requirements.
Prepare project-level design programs and cost forecasts.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering, utility, or DNO environment.
Ideally a Chartered Engineer or possess relevant experience and management or professional qualifications.
Understanding of management systems including ISO9001, ISO14001, and OHSAS 18001.
Expertise in protection and control schemes on the 11kV to 132kV Distribution Network.
Understanding of the CDM Regulations and the role of the Designer under these regulations.
